Hello friends,

I figured we should probably utilize this news feature more despite us being slightly more active in Discord for our communications.

There has been quite a drought in updates over the past several months, however I do want to assure you that Keymash isn't going anywhere. Actually, that's quite the opposite as of right now. We are hoping to start having more regular updates like we used to again, so stay tuned. 

For now though, we will get into some updates of what is going on with Keymash as of today.

**Ranked Matchmaking** and **Career Rating** have been removed from Keymash. We have substituted Ranked Matchmaking for our Sudden Death mode which does NOT impact any of your public statistics. We are also stopping all Career Rating calculations for its new successor that you should hear about in the near future. 

The reason why we removed Ranked Matchmaking is simply because it isn't used a lot and has caused a lot more negative interactions rather than positive ones. This is due to long queue times, uneven games and more. As always, we may re-introduce this at a later date but for now it's just not the best time.

Career Rating will be replaced, but the calculations just simply aren't a true statement of skill and performance for a typist. We would rather not waste any more time keeping this system up when it provides no benefits to anyone that uses Keymash.

As for bug fixes, there has been some stability improvements to the backend of Keymash and we are also currently fixing issues with the Replay system not saving at all - we will have more optimizations in due time along with more bugfixes as we are going through some backlog of them.
